Beret Flash
A yellow shield-shaped embroidered item with a semi-circular base 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in height and 1 7/8 inches (4.76 cm) in width overall, divided diagonally from upper right to lower left by three 3/32 inch (.24 cm) equally spaced scarlet diagonal stripes, with a 3/32 inch (.24 cm) wide white inner border, with a 3/32 inch (.24 cm) wide purple notch on each side at horizontal and vertical center line; all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) purple border. The beret flash was approved on 23 February 2011. It was amended to change the description/design on 11 March 2011. (TIOH Dwg. No. A-4-267)

A yellow oval-shaped embroidered item 1 3/8 inches (3.49 cm) in height and 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in width overall, divided diagonally from upper right to lower left, by three 3/32 inch (.24 cm) equally spaced scarlet diagonal stripes; all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) purple border.
